Sophie started out her professional acting career after graduating from the London School of Musical Theatre in 2009. Credits include Six the Musical as Katherine Howard at the Arts Theatre (2020), her other theatre credits include playing the roles of Miranda in Hope (Bridewell Theatre, 2009); Toffee in Zombie Prom (Landor Theatre, 2009); Joanne in Godspell (Union Theatre); Jill in Jack and the Beanstalk (Devonshire Park Theatre, 2009); Beauty in Sleeping Beauty (Richmond Theatre, 2011); Margot in Legally Blonde: The Musical (UK Tour, 2011-12); Sophie Lee in Get Got (2013 Edinburgh Festival Fringe); Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray (Bronowski Productions, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, 2014); Fairy Willow Wed in Robin Hood (Cambridge Theatre); Sandra Beaumont in Made in Dagenham (Adelphi Theatre, 2014); Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Show (European Tour, 2017-18); Ensemble while also understudying Lauren in Kinky Boots (Adelphi Theatre, 2015-16) and Frenchie Facciano in Grease (Leicester Curve, 2016). She also appeared as Heather McNamara in Heathers (Theatre Royal Haymarket/The Other Palace, 2018) and Goldilocks in Goldilocks and the Three Bears (The Palladium, 2019-20).
